| The library also serves hospital visitors (including patients’ families), students (medical, pharmacy, nursing, allied health, etc.), and residents of the region.
The library is located on the ground floor of Halifax Regional Medical Center.
Library Hours
The Medical Library is open to the public and staffed with a librarian Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. (except for hospital observed holidays). Halifax Regional staff members and medical, pharmacy, nursing, allied health students needing to access the Medical Library outside of normal hours should contact Security.
Circulation
Circulating material may be checked out for two weeks. Our Book Loan Request Form is available here. Lost and/or damaged items are to be replaced by the borrower. Please call the library at (252) 535-8668 or send an email to lpowell@halifaxrmc.org to renew library materials.
